So do you think you have the flu (H1N1, also sometimes called “swine flu”)?
Most people with 2009 H1N1 have had mild illness and have not needed medical care or antiviral drugs and the same is true of seasonal flu. If you are experiencing mild influenza-like symptoms, including fever, body aches, runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, nausea, or vomiting or diarrhea, you should stay home and avoid contact with other people. CDC recommends that you stay home for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone. Stay away from others as much as possible to keep from making others sick. This means avoiding normal activities, including work, school, travel, shopping, social events, and public gatherings. Click here to view more information.

Can't Make Your Appointment?
Last month, more than 2,000 patients were unable to keep their appointments. Because we did not hear from them, we were unable to reschedule that time for their fellow veterans. If you can't make your appointment, let us help you reschedule.
