The local American Legion Riders stepped up to offer the event after the traditional Veterans Day ceremony at the hospital was canceled and an annual outing involving Harley-Davidson was scrapped.
“We were very honored and happy to jump on board,” said Tracy Stefanski, secretary of the local chapter of the Riders. “We enjoy doing this stuff, especially for Veterans. We love to honor them.”
