April 18-24 is National Volunteer Week, and the Voluntary Services team at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center presented gifts to show appreciation for our hundreds of volunteers.

While most volunteers have been unable to come to the hospital due to the COVID-19 pandemic, volunteers with the DAV Transportation program have continued to work, ferrying Veterans to and from their appointments and escorting them in the hospital. Those volunteers received car emergency kits with a $20 Kwik Trip gift card.

Other volunteers were mailed a small gift and a letter of appreciation.
